Description
This Andamooka Opal has a beautiful white base spectrum of colour. The pieces measure 10.2 x 6 x 2.8 mm. This piece would make a unique ring, necklace or collector’s piece. Andamooka Opal’s base rock is limestone, making the opal a similar composition to that of boulder opal; whilst the colour is thin the base rock is strong.
This piece has been semi polished, the face left in a semi natural state with only parts of the face smoothed out to a fine polish to preserve as much colour as possible.
